What happened to the other blogs? I'm voting yes....I get the idea most of my team will too. Meetings and mailings are starting to reveal some fear from NCR. My TM is working hard to make sure we vote no. Its getting out of hand.

Vote YES and lets get on with it!!

ok now i have gone to cheadles meeting. what has changed? i'm still getting paid less than last year and i'm forced on call more than i have ever been but thats ok because nuti and his bastard child cheadle are making millions and telling me i'm making enough.no brainer for me go union.

"The NY Teamsters also get $165 in A/V pay for the weeks they work it."

WOW they get $15.00 a week MORE than I do without paying Union dues.... hmmmm

Well I suppose that is worth the Union dues of 1% of my base pay before taxes....

Look the union can NOT promise you anything. They ONLY thing the union WILL promise you is that they WILL collect their dues every paycheck.

VOTE YES !!! We need the Union here in the Northeast!!!!!

We should go Union now just to piss them off.

all i can say is that after my paycut nothing i do is free. at 5:01 (if i am lucky enough to be working an 8-5 day) it is overtime if they call me. and as for that 30 min. each morning and evening we have to give away--do not take any calls or even look at your rim during that time. it is your time-you don't get paid for it. if you have to leave the house at 7:30 and the call is 10 min. away then sit there at the site for 20 min and play solitaire or something. and when you are done with the call do your parts return like wee are suppose to do and maybe check your work email..maybe ncr will learn how much we used to give away when we weren't treatd like a walmart employee

We should go union to get what we deserve. NCR will not give it to us

NCR CE's

NEW YORK "CE'S" MAY HAVE LOST ON THE "REBANDING" ISSUE, BUT IT IS QUITE CLEAR THAT THEY BENEFIT FROM UNION MEMBERSHIP.

IF NOTHING ELSE, IT KEEPS THE COMPANY ON ITS "TOES" WITH RESPECT TO "COMPENSATION & BENEFITS".

WHEN PART OF THE WORKFORCE IS REPRESENTED BY A UNION, IT PUTS PRESSURE ON THE COMPANY TO PROVIDE BETTER "COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS" PACKAGES FOR THE NON-UNION WORKERS.

THE GREATER THE NUMBER OF "CE'S" BELONGING TO THE UNION, THE MORE THE "PRESSURE" IT PUTS ON NCR TO ADEQUATELY COMPENSATE THE EMPLOYEES AND TO PROVIDE REASONABLE BENFITS AND "WORK RULES".

THE FACT THE THE COMPANY IS EXPENDING SIGNIFICANT TIME, MONEY AND EFFORT TO WIN THE UNION ELECTION IS CLEAR EVIDENCE THAT UNION MEMBERSHIP IS IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE "CE'S".

THE COMPANY WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE "CALLING THE SHOTS" WITHOUT HAVING TO DISCUSS CHANGES WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF THE "CE"S".

YOU ALL KNOW WHAT HAS HAPPENED OVER THE LAST SEVERAL YEAR IN TERMS OF COMPENSATION, BENEFITS AND "WORK RULES".

JUST THINK ABOUT WHAT WAS LOST OVER THIS PERIOD.

CLEARLY, A UNION OF "CE'S" WILL NOT GET YOU EVERYTHING YOU WOULD LIKE, BUT AT LEAST YOU GET A CHANCE TO DISCUSS IT.

REMEMBER, THERE IS STRENGTH IN NUMBERS. UNITED YOU STAND, AS INDIVIDUALS, YOU FAIL TO HAVE A SEAT AT THE TABLE.

COMPANIES HAVE MANY AREAS OF COST WHICH MAY BE CUT TO MEET PROFITABILITY OBJECTIVES. UNION MEMBERSHIP WILL HELP IN PREVENTING "CE" COMPENSATION & BENEFITS FROM BEARING AN INORDINATE PORTION OF NECESSARY COST REDUCTIONS.

we have nothing to lose in forming a union. conditions at ncr have gotten steadily worse over the years and the assurances of cheadle that things will get better does little to convince me that we will recieve better treatment in light of the fact that ncr has had record profits and the only ones that benefitted from ncr's good fortune was nuti, cheadle and their cronies (all of whom have contracts, cheadle told us his runs out in 2010) .things can and will get worse if we don't take a shot and get a union. i'm done with losing. if a contract is good enough for the big boys its good enough for me. i'm voting yes.

Are you kidding me? There is NOTHING NCR wont do to its empoyees, if it means bigger bonus's and pay raises for the Cheat-les and Nutis. We arent considered human. They could care less if you never see your family, or if you can make your mortgage payments, or you can afford to send your kids to college. The main lesson is: Do NOT try to get ahead, or become proficient, or excel at your job. Do NOT go the extra mile, or give the extra effort for the company. Your reward will be a paycut, and a cut in benefits. They will cut the pension you have worked for. Never underestimate how devious and underhanded NCR can be when it comes to its CE's. And always remember, when upper management makes terrible decisions that cost the company big money, the ce's will pay the cost for their poor decisions.

The people that post negative comments on this blog are not CE's. This is typical NCR management. This shows the true way they feel about the hardworking CE's in this company.

They truly feel the CE is a low life whiner who deserves more of a paycut then you already recieved.

They truly feel that you are a sub-human who does not deserve to enjoy life, see your family, or have enough money to treat your family extra special once in a while.

They truly feel that you can be replaced easily and what you bring to NCR is worthless.

NCR has done nothing but proven time and time again that this is the way they feel about CE's. Every policy they make just puts more and more of a burden on the CE's and their loved ones.

The TM's are nothing but spineless puppets. They would be lucky if they could take a leak without NCR's permission. Do you seriously think that engaging in a dialogue with your TM will resolve anything. Has it ever? Don't bet on it ever happening without a UNION.

The Union has the ability to resolve your issues by engaging the people that create, make and change policy within NCR.

When one speaks up he is quickly dismissed.
When hundreds speak with one voice people begin to listen and take notes.

VOTE FUTURE.
VOTE FAMILY.
VOTE UNION.

Save the Middle Class!

Thank You,
Still Proud Teamster

Some of these "jerks" are the managerment, and other are there new hires, just here to make a buck, will screw the company the first chance they get. by the time NCR wakes up to these low life workers, NUTI AND CHEADLES will be long gone, and this is the work force they are looking for. If you no voters have any BALLS put your name on posting so CHEADLES will give you a "at a boy". Funny thing is, I have heard and personal saved people who managerment wanted to FIRE, but there are so anti union. If we lose, you lose big time. because if you suck at what you do, I will personal ask that they fire your ass. NO mistake about that. And your NO VOTE WILL NOT SAVE YOUR ASS. Remember NCR has a short memory for favors you do them!!!!!

Anonymous said...

In response to this member of managements comment. (See below) It is only going to take 50.0001% to win. I think you should just except the fact you will soon be working with a UNION of (loyal, dedicated and extremely hard working)CE's which will include new hires and seasoned veterans, all working towards a common goal.

So dont spew your anti-union garbage in here, until you get a brain and can think for yourself. NCR wants you to:
be happy with your pay
enjoy your time away from your family
get a divorce if you are being nagged about working to much
give the company 195%
have no other jobs besides NCR
think about how you can help NCR get more out of you
quit if you have been with the company over 25 years
listen to your manager
do everything your manager ask you to do without question
take personal responsibility for any problems
skip your lunch
skip your break
start before your shift starts
work after your shift ends
NOT charge overtime for any of this
NOT talk to other CEs that may be unhappy with NCR
quit if you are unhappy
NOT clam anything on your health care plan
quit if you need to make a clam
ware your NCR shirt with pride
NOT tell the customers how you are being treated by NCR
tell the customers how great NCR is
make your numbers look good
notify your TM if you are unhappy with anything and dont want to quit (this will start the paperwork to get rid of you, you are now an unwanted part of NCR)
keep your phone and rim on at all times (even if you are not working or on call)
answer your phone or rim anytime it rings
NOT join a union

and the most important thing go away happy when NCR no longer wants you for whatever reason remembering that you would not be where you are today without them.

Let us all help make NCR a strong company that can afford the things Nuti and Cheadle need.

Can we all just come together and help them GET FIRED!

GO UNION!!!

DAMN IT, just got a NCR anti union mail and they went on about how much the union dues would be in 25 years in my 401k plan. HOW ABOUT THE 14% PAY CUT I TOOK FOUR YEARS AGO!!! since I took a pay cut I've lost over $30,000 and that is only four years!!!!!!!! And there was no negotiation, it was take it or find a new job. Any of you new guys hang around for 20 years and this is how NCR will reward you. I'M VOTING YES FOR THE UNION!!! The last NCR mail pushed me over the edge!!!

And in that same mail from NCR they say they hear our concerns "loud and clear?" if the union doesn't get in will they still care about our concerns?

well it's been about a week or so since the abitrator's decision and no official word from the teamsters 111 reps. WHY? can someone answer me and I'm not management.....I'm a member of local 111

Anonymous said...

LET’S GET DOWN TO THE NITTY GRIY!!!

Since the bonus plan has come about several years ago at NCR, we have NEVER gotten the full 5%. We have never gotten a pay raise equal to the yearly cost of living. Some of us have not seen a pay increase in three or more years. Our bonuses are based on numbers that are not 100% in our control, but the company refuses to fix these issues. Our title of FE has been reduced to a CE years ago. (For those who don’t know, in the real world, a CE is a lower grade technician that an FE – a demotion.) Senior CE’s have also been demoted to a CE2 with a huge pay cut. Your personnel folder, by the way, will reflect this “demotion”. The company will work us to death with no consideration to our personnel life, availability pay has not increased in years, we are at a dead-end job as NCR rarely promotes a CE to management anymore, and the list goes on and on.
Our medical costs have sky-rocked, the cost of all our benefits increases every year, our pensions have been frozen, HMO’s have been taken away from available choices, and the list goes on and on. And we have absolutely no say in any of this. Unlike a union where both sides will sit down and negotiate a reasonable contract, there is no negotiation.
There is no bargaining. As one FOB always says, “it is what it is”, period. Think about it.

The following is conceivably one of the most important issues to come about here within NCR. How many of you have taken “The Survey”? We have not had one of these in years although they use to be quite common in years past. Had you noticed that the first few questions ask “years service, age, and name of TM”? That is for a reason. Had you noticed how many questions asked about outsourcing? If it was not going to happen in the near future, they would not have had it in the survey. If you think your job is bad now, just wait and see how bad it’s going to get when you get laid off by NCR and forced to another company for lower pay and less benefits. The “survey”, if answered truthfully, will tell them how many older, experienced CE’s are willing to make the move to the outsource company so younger less experienced people can be trained. It will tell them how many people as a whole who now do the work are willing to go over and continue the current work in the outsource company. It will tell them how many will not go over and quit altogether so the outsource company will know how many people they will need to hire. Think about it.

Not every company needs a union. Many companies share their wealth with their employees and they are very satisfied in their workplace. Forget Nuti’s millions in bonuses for a minute, and ask yourself why, a company like NCR, who is making very good profits, is cutting us off at the knees. Nuti sold Teradata, a very profitable business, and made millions. He will now outsource and increase those profits and probably make more millions. Does he really care about us or himself and stockholders who, by the terms is his contract, feed him even more millions in bonuses. Think about it.

What can a union do for us? For about one hour of pay per pay period, every other week, a union will allow us, the members, to express our concerns, to present our demands collectively to the company, and negotiate on our behalf, a binding contract that will satisfy the vast majority of it’s membership. No more “it is what it is”. No more taking away of benefits and pay at the company’s whim. We will have a contract, as Nuti has, that will give us real raises instead of bogus bonuses. A contract that will put a freeze on increased benefit costs through the life of the contract. No outsourcing. A contract with better working conditions and hours and anything else we as a membership decide upon. And remember this. Contrary to what the company preaches, it is not what the union wants, the union represents our views. The membership decides what issues we want the union to negotiate for with the company. If anyone thinks that for the price of about one hour of pay every other week, that this is not a bargain, let me ask you one question. What recourse do you have now with NCR about any issue that you do not feel is reasonable towards its workforce? The answer is NONE!

THINK ABOUT IT!

Anonymous said...

Why are there 23 openings for CE's in Chicago? Are there any CE's working there now? Do you think there would be 23 openings if the job paid a decent living and there was some kind of career path?

Anonymous said...

there are 23 openings beause they pay crap and work them to death. people come back from school and work a week and say piss on this crap.can you blame them? and then they figure thte rest of the country will send people to take care of it. but the rest of the country are startig to have people leave in droves. who wants to work for a company where you have no idea what kind of future you will have? within a year or less all you will have are a bunch of newbies who don't have the experience to fix anything more thtan the simple jobs. i can't blame them-the training sucks now and do you really expect the experienced people to train new people so they can take their jobs? the company wants the cheapest labor possible. when they come and lay someone off you can bet it won't be the low paid workers- it will be the higher paid ones. what a fubarred company this is becoming..

Corporate Greed is out of control and the Middle Class is being destroyed. While we sit home and watch American Idol and any other B.S. Reality show on the tube the Corporate Machine is plotting another way to squeeze us for some more. Its time to put down the remote and get active in taking back the Middle Class.
As Americans we should be ashamed that we allowed this once great country we inherited from our Grand Parents and Parents to fall into such an ill state. What kind of country will we leave behind for our children and grandchilden?

VOTE UNION!

Other areas are having to supply ce's to the Chicago area because they can't get anyone to work there. The few they hire leave in a hurry after their first 70 hour week. The sad part is, other areas are starting to suffer because they are now running shorthanded due to lending people to Chicago. And as the numbers fall, so will the probability of a bonus. And it will continue to spiral downward, with the CE's getting the blame, and the upper management getting the raises and bonus's. I just wish someone would make nuti, cheatle and wallace all write a check back to the company of 30% of their annual pay, we would see how they would like it. Or tell them that because they are doing such a good job, we are removing their job title. Whats total idiots. Wait till they get a load of the employee survey, I am sure they will have to pad it to make themselves look anything better than mini-Hitlers

from the way the email looked about the meeting it sounds like its going to be some really padded bullshit.

As a former NCR employee, I want to encourage all of you to vote yes for a Union. I left after the first pay cut (2006), and went to work for one of my customers. NCR's management both local and at headquaters is not concerned at all about the well being of it's employees.

Anonymous said...

it's amazing to me how some of the teamsters are still trying to convince themselves that paying dues to get your pay cut (like everyone else) is a good thing. you idiots who keep saying "go union" are either retarded or stupid as the rest of the dopes who pay dues to these crooks. use your head and be honest about this. the union screwed you and continues to collect your dues because they can not lose. No matter what happnes in a contract, they still get their money from you as was clearly demonstrated last week. if you were smart you would decertify the union.

Anonymous said...

if you think the teamseters got the geo zone 3 created you're wrong. I heard this was in the works back in march after asking abotu why philly was only a zone 1. this stuff is all done by a 3rd party and the results are given to ncr. figures the teamsters are trying to take credit for someting that had nothing to do with them. isn't this typical union lying to justify their own misery?

Anonymous said...

I can't believe you're still falling for the unionnnn rhetoric. repeat after me: "the company cannot be forced to do anything by the unionnnn. the company will do what it wants and only what it wants." you and the unionnnn do not and will not run ncr. it is really hard to believe ya'll are so dumb and hard headed. the unionnn is in business to collect money and make you think it is doing wonderful things for you. here's another repeat after me: "bull_ _ _ _ is the only thing that comes out of a unionnnn meeting!"

Anonymous said...

Hey Dick Head...The union did not take credit for the Zone 3 pay...The mediator stated that he wanted the zone 3 pay to be implemented by a certain date. July 1 2009. If the mediator did not place that language in the contract, do you honestly believe that NCR would have given it freely? I think not. So get your stories straight! And get a clue!

Everything you say is a LIE!!! If the union couldn't do anything for the CE's, why is ncr trying to sop them? Why do the CE's in New York make more availability pay, have personnel use vehicles, 2 days off, the list gose on and on and on! They have so much more than the non union CE's! I'm voting use for the union, and no to ncr stealing from CE's to give to Nutjob nuti!!!

Anonymous said...

We just have to ask have we been treated fairly? If not then how do we change that? Do we trust Cheadle who says things will get better? The company is doing better now than it ever has. What exactly are we waiting for? We can bring change if we stand together. Hell we got Cheadle on the magical mystery tour just by bringing the union to a vote imagine what we can do when we get the union in. Vote Yes

Anonymous said...

Decertify the UNIONNNNN.That is the stupidist thing I think I ever seen posted on here!
Then we can all go into our TM's office and beg for a raise from a man who is too afraid to even speak up for himself let alone the CE's.

Without the Teamsters:

85% of the NY CE's would have had paycuts 6 year ago like the rest of the nations CE's. Because of the UNIONNNNN 100% maintained full pay for the past 6 years.CHING!

The remaining 15% would have been cut down to 45,800 back in Feb. but avoided the cut until July 1 when the 18 month Bridge starts (24 MONTH BRIDGE IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT).CHING!

This alone has saved the Teamster CE's a minimum of 50 to 75K depending on your pay rate.CHING!

Currently the UNIONNNNNNNN severance package is better than the standard NCR package. The UNIONNNNNNNN package does not have a limit to the years of service. UNIONNNNNNNNNN Ce's will recieve 1 week of PAY and MEDICAL for every year of service they have. Most of these men have 35-40 years. NCRs standard package limits you to 26 weeks.CHING!!!!

Without a UNIONNNNNNNN there would have been no arbitration. Without the arbitration there would have been no ZONE3.The arbitrator "DIRECTED THE COMPANY TO INCREASE THE BASE PAY FOR THOSE REBANDED EMPLOYEES BY APPROXIMATELY $5000 ON JULY 1,2009"

Do you notice the quotes ^^up there^^ thats because it is a quote and not from the UNIONNNNN but from NCR. Directed means they where TOLD TO DO IT this did not come from the kindess of their hearts.

Our dues saved us a bunch of $$$$.

If the rest of this place was UNIONNNNNNNN before these cuts went into place we probably would still have could have fought off or softened the blow of these Pay cuts,Penion Freezes and Benefit Reductions.

Remember CE's the only thing NCR will GIVE you without you asking is MORE WORK,MORE PAYCUTS,MORE HEADACHES, and HEARTACHES.

VOTE UNIONNNNNNNNNNNNNN!

Thank you,

Still Proud Teamster

We all thought it's gonna get better too. Guess what???? It's been rolling downward for about 5 years now (if not longer).

PERHAPS PART OF THE "COST" PROBLEM IS THE CONTINUED INCREASE IN TOTAL EXECUTIVE COMPENSATION (NOT JUST BASE SALARIES) RELATIVE TO "CE" COMPENSATION.

VOTE YES, GO UNION!!!

Here is what NCRs monry gets for them... 20 men from the supposed strike force in NYC were hired by NCR here in NY. All 6 were sent to Dayton for a full line of training. Today 6 men were brought into the office for some mentoring and then take the 6 certification test The first 2 tests that they took today basic mechanical and basic electric, they all failed!!! now they have to go back to Dayton for the remedial training course. And now they are betting their jobs. This is the crap that NCR thinks will be the future of this company. God help NCR and the rest of you who are sticking around! I am so glad I am leaving. I just landed a Job paying $32.85 an hour plus OT and excellent benefits. NCR can go fuck themselves. I plan on burning every bridge within the next month. I wish you all good luck here with the union.

Anonymous said...

NUTI is a dickhead! He'd sell his mother if he could.

Anonymous said...

We need the union

Anonymous said...

Of COURSE nuti is selling stocks. This Company is doomed. I have been with other companies that put way more effort in keeping a union out than NCR is doing. They are putting on a show that they don't want a union. The upper accountants could care less they have been juggling the books to make it appear we are making more money The stock price is going suspiously up.
1) We haven't really increased our work force (ces)
2) We have been getting contract after contract.
3) Other companies charge way less than us to maintain the same equipment, yet they can't win back the contracts because they just aren't making enough money to be that large to support the contracts.
Within a year or two Nuti, Cheatle, and Wallce will be gone a the company worthless in the stocks.
The Teamsters gave in a little too easy on the CE3 thing, (I could be wrong, not in the Teamsters, so bash me all you want, just a ouside observation) The arbitrator was quick on that too.

Can anyone explain why ce3 was gone so easy in nyc negotiations?

Anonymous said...

Neither NCR nor the Teamsters wanted a strike, NCR would not move from it's position on CE3s our choices were to strike or let an arbitrator decide the issue which would be binding on both parties. It didn't help us that the rest of the country had already lost on that issue. The fact remains that your best hope for any kind of career depends on whether you'll stand together or alone against NCR the next time something like this happens. Maybe we could've done it differently or if we had more members situations might have been different. This was timed and orchestrated by NCR, if it convinces you not to organize then they have won and we can all expect more of the same.

Anonymous said...

NCR has taken half truths and innuendo to the next level. It has been reported that an NCR manager stated that “if Verizon goes on strike and NCR becomes union then NCR will have to go on strike with them”. That statement is not only untrue but could be illegal. You cannot make false statements in order to affect ones decision on how to vote in a union election. As a worker for NCR and a member of the IBEW you would have no legal right strike if Verizon workers or any other IBEW workers were on strike. Your support for these workers would certainly be necessary but you would still have to respect the terms of the NCR contract. If anyone has knowledge of NCR managers making these types of statements please contact us and we will file charges.

Anonymous said...

"Neither NCR nor the Teamsters wanted a strike,"

The IBEW Fence stradling put the IBT in the position of negotiating
for the entire East Coast (Me Too philosophy). The IBT chose a
better long term strategy that keeps everyone working, offers
RIF Packs to most CE3s, gives decent raises to all CE1s and CE2s,
and shifts the fight to the year 2011 for 200 career minded CEs.
Now, IBEW, Show us what you've got!

Anonymous said...

NCR is lucky the Teamsters didn't walk. Strike would have lasted one week at the most. If you haven't sent in your ballot yet, do so now. Word is many heads are going to roll if NO wins. So if you think voting NO will save your job think twice. A YES VOTE will protect you from being fired for no reason. NCR willn't be able to demote any RTSS. RTSS can be demoted to CE2'S. Do you think there need someone at your pay just hanging around? There need you out running calls after there clean house. Vote smart folks.

With the recent verizon negotiations, I saw this on AOL and wanted to share with the folks that oppose unions.

My husband is a retired Verizon employee and a member of Local 1101 CWA. Because of his union membership, we received free family health insurance, a pension, a matching 401K, stock options, and a mortgage with a low down payment among other things. They paid for major surgeries for our kids and they now include our grandchildren under our family contract. While Verizon was a great company to work for, it was the union that made all things possible. Good luck to CWA and the IBT. They earned every dollar of union dues paid over 30 years. Young adults remember that, union is the only way to go.

Now does the union still sound like something that takes your money and leaves you dry...no I didn't think so.

GO UNION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

It's all well and good to tell us we should've struck but you don't belong to our union. You don't have any say in what we do, we are not responsible for your well being. If and when you join a union you'll have a chance to be heard, if you want to strike that badly, you'll get the opportunity to persuade your brothers and sisters with your arguments. Everyone gets the chance to speak, everyone gets to vote, majority rules.

Anonymous said...

You guys in New York did a lot of pleading for our support. Now it's were not responsible for your well being. You gotta love this shithole job. NCR wins again.

Anonymous said...

Refresh my memory, what did we ask you to do for us?

if you believe what you read on the internet you are an idiot and you should definately vote yes, you need a unionnnnn to hold your hand,

Anonymous said...

I think that what our Teamster Brother is saying is that
this is NOT a Football Game and we are not spectators.
A Strike can destroy your Employer, destroy your Customers,
or destroy your Union (or all the above).

It takes true leadership to navigate these waters and
real courage to abide by the decision.

Anonymous said...

Let get facts straight. only 10 people were willing to fight for CE3 rating. The rest figured by telling the abitrator, NCR makes lots of money, so do not cut are pay was going to work. Plus True leadership is to fight for what you believe in, not to let the company roll over you. I know it not a game. But to managerment it is a game. HOW much money can they make.TO US it is money to pay the bills.
ALSO MR UNIONNNN YOUR A SPINLESS WEASLE, HIDING IN THE WEEDS, GET DOWN ON YOUR KNEES, NUTI CALLING.

Anonymous said...

I would destroy NCR before I will work for the CE-2 wages, I can't live a decent life on $20 an hour. That's less money, adjusted for inflation than I started at 25 years ago. Not even taking in the consideration of reduced or eliminated benefits!

Anonymous said...

NCR MUST PAY FOR WHAT WE ARE GOING THRU. THE UNION IS OUR ONLY ANSWER

Anonymous said...

With all the talk on here about CE3's I missed what kind of increase did the CE1's and CE2's end up with if any? Did the new contract have any effect on their wages?

Anonymous said...

ny teamster contract details
CE-3'S are all demoted to CE-2's with a cut in pay to $45,800.00 with Bridge Pay for 18 months, same as us. However next July 09 there pay is increased to $51,500 and the Bridge Pay will continue until January 2010. Also July 09 they will become a Geographic Zone 3 which should add about an additional 10% to there pay. On January 2010 they get another 3% raise and July 2010 another 3% raise.
So once the Bridge Pay runs out they should be making $58,350.00 and by July 2010 they'll be making $60,100.00
These totals include the assumed 10% increase for Geographic Zone 3.
All current CE-2's will be receiving a 3% across the board raise this year and the next 2 after. CE-1's will be receiving a 5% raise this
year and the following 2 after.
Any CE's who elect to retire will get Full Medical Coverage for up to 40 weeks if they've worked 40 years or more, (1 week/year worked)
And up to 40 weeks of severance pay, (1 week/year worked) The rest of us get a maximum of 26 for both medical & severance pay.
