How much are union dues for CE in NC making $16 an hour? Rough estimate is all?

dues is 1% per week plus international per capita $12.00 a month the 1% on $670.00 weekly pay is $7.60 a week approx $42.40m per month

the 1%is local union union dues that rate is set by the members of the local on a vote any changes to that has to be proposed at a union meeting , then the membership has to be informed in writing of the proposed dues change and time time and date of next union meeting where it will be discussed and voted on.

the international per capita is set at the international convention by the delegates each local union elects their own, the number of delegates depends on the number of members in each local

I have been getting mailings from NCR and IBEW... When I opened them I noticed one distinct difference NCR was in black and white and the unions was in COLOR. WHY? Are we children and have to have color pushed in our faces to make us read it? And how much more $$$ did it cost to do it in color than in black and white????
When we get in the union that will be OUR money spent on stupid looking COLOR mailings.

What I do in the privacy of my own mansion, 2 jet airplanes, 2 world head quarters (NYC and Dayton), helicopter, yacht(the CE3), my girly man CEs who are too scared to vote union, and what ever else my greedy ass owns is my business. There was another tragedy aboard my yacht the "CE3" this weekend. Scotty my new puppy ate my cell phone and it got stuck in his butt when he tried to shit it out. What made it worse was that I always keep my phone on vibrate. Every time somebody called he would cry out in pain. I could not take his whining any longer so pulled the phone out of his ass myself. That piece of junk phone broke in my hands it was so disgusting. There were at least one hundred missed calls, one hundred yelps of pain anyway.

Well Scotty is getting to be a demanding pain in the ass so I bought him a little companion whom I named Indy. A new little INDIAN BULL TERRIER pup for him to play with. He eats Wal-Mart dog food and loves to sleep outside in his Wal-Mart dog house. Hopefully Scotty will stop growling at him and me start acting more like a good little Indy pup.

Anyway JULY 18th is coming so get ready for your pay cuts you teamster scum bags. Dare you try to take my money; I mean the company’s money.

I am pretty sure when we are outsourced or something along that avenue they will all stand around and think "I can't believe this is happening" ......

From the Ce's I have talked to, they are all voting FOR the union. Anyone voting no is a fool. Who wants to work and not have some sort of protection against the cuts that NCR has been levying against use for the past 5 or 6 years? It just doesn't make sense.

From the beginning and speaking for myself: My reasons for filing this case have always been about making this a better place to work for everyone.
When the NCR culture defines a "Moment of Truth" to mean an employee working off the clock for no pay on his/her day off, I won't remain silent.
I feel that our employers expectation to provide free labor just keeps getting worse. I've heard from long time employees and how things are so different now. How management doesn't just hint or pressure you to do work on your own time, they outright expect it.

I respect and admire the men and women who have worked as CE's for so many years. From my very first day, I have been inspired by the loyalty, dedication, skill and endurance that the CE3's I have had the pleasure to work with have shown.

From them, I developed and learned to have pride in my work.

It's that pride that won't allow me to give MY WORK away for free. I think a CE's work has value and they should be paid for the work they do. Not just some of it, but ALL OF IT.

If anyone else thinks they should be paid for all of the work they have done but haven't always been so in the past, here's your opportunity. Raise your voice and speak up now. Tell your story. I think you will find you're not alone.

A My manager & co-workers know I'm for the Union, I'm involved in the CLass Action Suite and have filed with the EEOC for age discrimination as every CE3 I know and myself who were demoted to a CE2 are over 40. So don't be a wimp and join the Class Action Suite now!

OKAY, I'LL GET ON IT I'M NOT A PUSSY. I FILED AN AGE DISCRIMINATION CHARGE WITH THE EEOC ALSO. I WANT THE UNION IN BIG TIME.

I DIDN'T MIND WORKING THREW MY LUNCH AND LETTING THE COMPANY ROB ME OF OVERTIME FOR ALL THESE YEARS, BECAUSE THEY WERE GOOD TO ME. I WORKED HARD AND THEY LEFT ME ALONE. BUT THESE LAST 10 YEARS HAVE GOTTEN WORSE AND WORSE. THE PAY CUT WAS THE STRAW THAT BROKE THE CAMELS BACK.

MY HEALTH IS GOING I DIDN'T EXPECT ALL THIS SHIT AT MY AGE. I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO GLIDE INTO RETIREMENT LIKE THE OLDER GUYS DID WHEN I STARTED WITH NCR.

I TURNED DOWN A GOOD GOVERNMENT JOB TO STAY WITH NCR EARLY IN MY CAREER. WHAT A MISTAKE, I'D BE RETIRED WITH A GOOD PENSION RIGHT NOW. INSTEAD MY PENSION HAS BEEN FROZEN AND MY PAY IS CUT.

It was the events that you spoke of that prompted me to do some-thing even though the paycuts didn't affect me, as I was not a
CE3.

I couldn't stand by and watch NCR treat their most loyal and skilled employees like that. The CE3's I know deserve to be respected and compensated for that level of commitment.

If I have to hear one more time, about how all large company's are running things this way, I will scream! Since when does doing the wrong thing over and over make it less wrong? This attitude will make you jump off a bridge, because your friend did.

EIGHT YEARS AGO WHEN NCR HAD ITS BRAINLESS "EARLY OUT" AND WE LOST 3/4 OF OUR WORKFORCE LOCALLY MY FATHER, A RETIRED LIPTON TEA VICE PRESIDENT SAID "NCR IS FU(%ING YOU, YOU NEED A UNION". From a former CE3 who is now a RTSS..This is your chance to protect yourselves from the in justice that was done to us former CE3"s.I was royaly screwed when NCR decided I made to much money for what I worked hard to make over the past 35 plus years.My pay cut was around 30% and they gave me 3 choices..Take the bridge pay,take the severance pay,which was capped at 26 weeks,and which was expanded for the NYC CE'S who were eligable,but wasn't told to us,not sure how many weeks severence they got.Or apply for the RTSS position..I didn't have much of a choice,in fact I will never make the money I made before I accepted this job.We are salary now and we have no voice.So please do whats right and protect yourselves ..
