Okay Southeast it's up to us to win another revolution that started in Boston.
Instead of red coats they wear $1500 suits. Instead of taxing tea they have made it so we can't afford to buy it. Instead of fighting a King we are fighting a GREED NAZI.

Well instead of bullets fire back with those UNION CARDS that are being sent this week. Send those cards back ASAP. FIRE AWAY and end the error of the GREED Nazi’s.
America and the world are watching, let the south lead the Victory again.

Send the UNION CARDS back to the return address on the envelope. Or Bobby Hayes
PO Box 1722
Conyers, GA 30012

If you do not receive a card call Bobby Hayes at (404) 788-0235 or e-mail him at BHayes1022@aol.com. Or just call Bobby to let him know that you appreciate all he is doing for us.

The battle is on, fight the greed nazi's with your union cards. Don't let them turn the middle class into the servant class.

COME ON NEW ENGLAND, SEND THOSE CARDS IN! TEXT MESSAGES WERE SENT OUT TO MOST CE's NATIONAWIDE A COUPLE MONTHS AGO AND NOW SOME REGIONS ARE WAY AHEAD OF NEW ENGLAND AND READY TO GO TO THE NLRB BEFORE US AND WE STARTED THE WHOLE MOVEMENT! DON'T BE AFRAID, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO ORGANIZE, IT'S CONFIDENTIAL AND YOU WON'T LOSE YOUR JOB. IF YOU DON'T YOU'LL GET SCREWED BY NCR AGAIN & AGAIN.
GO UNION!!

I have a close Family member who is a retired Corporte Executive. He recently said "NCR is FU--ING YOU, you need a union! And of course he was never "pro union" but with our situation he is. He agrees there is too much "Corporate Greed". So come on guys and gals, get with the program and send in those UNION CARDS so we can go to the NLRB and proceed with the vote!!

GO UNION!!

392 AREA get those cards in. Good response so far. I know they were just sent out but we need to win this thing. As soon as you get them send the cards back to Bobby Hayes, at the return address on the envelope.

This is our only chance. There will not be another. Turn this dead end job back into a career. If we don’t get enough cards, it’s over we all loose and if you didn’t send your card in you lost it for all of us.

Don’t be a KISS ASS. This company, your manager, his manager and Bill Nutty cares nothing for you. You are an expense, that’s all you are and ever will be to them. Send back the cards for your family or the family you’ll have someday if don’t have the balls to do it for yourself. Also don’t be selfish and say” I’m out of here in a year anyway what do I care”. Then send the card back for your buddy who wants to stay and be a CE3 someday and base over 60k like the CE3s in unionized NY do.

Make no mistake about it corporate America is watching us and reading this Blog site. If Nutty gets away with this theft of its older employees he will be their hero. Then other companies will do the same to their people. It’s your responsibility as an American worker to show these greedy pieces of shit that we won’t tolerate them stealing our money and keeping it for themselves. Have Nutty’s evil plan go down in flames just like him on judgment day.

Tell who ever you talk to, to send the cards in ASAP.

392 we missed some FLS guys at first there is a 2nd mailing going out for people we missed. But tell those people to call Bobby Hayes at 404-788-0235. This way they'll definitely get a card.

Send those cards back ASAP.

For those kiss asses going to management telling them you don't know why you got a card. The manager looks at you like the kiss ass back stabbing piece of garbage that you are. Your not scoring points on either side. But Satan loves traders. So you are scoring points.

Anyone who took the RIF package was given a list by law of the ages of the CE3's in his or her area. I just have a partial list of about 80.
If others can send me a copy of their list that would be great.
The lists may benefit us all.
Send the lists to oneofthe500@live.com

392 people we are about 30 cards short.

Don't let us loose this thing. Find the card under the old pile of mail. Put it in an envelope and mail it to the return address on the envelope.

If you want to make shit and be treated like shit don't do anything. Soon we will be outsourced just like Canada and you'll be making even less then shit. Shit will laugh at you.

If you’re just a kiss ass call your manager and tell him we are 30 cards short thanks to your efforts. Then assume your position back under his desk.

I know 2 more were sent back in on monday, lets keep moving foward.

Hello all, There has been a Class Action Lawsuit filed against NCR for missed wages and so forth dealing with lunches, admin time and so on. The lawsuit has started in California. I have a copy of it and sent it to Steve Smith to maybe post it on the blog for all to review. It's to large to paste in the blog.

Call the Lawyer representing this case, Matt Dameron at 816-714-7137 for more information.

Steve,

What do we do when the company comes after us for trying to organize the union?
It has not happened to me yet. But I read it was happening to someone who posted about 50 messages ago.

hey yall any 520 guys/gurlz out here tryina do this.. i deff want to go UNION.. any1 here from the area or is it just me? HEllOO...?

I have never been in a Union, BUT I think the time has come to change that.... however I have many questions about the details?

I see references to NY/NJ and Teamsters.. Are The Teamsters and IBEW the same.. affiliated.. ??

Why is IBEW the best Union for NCR CEs to join..
No disrespect intended.. I thank them for their interest in our problem... I am just curious if there are multiple organizational efforts in progress or is this "the one that best fits our needs?" or if this is the one we have been directed to by job description

What is the actual out of pocket cost to be a union member? Monthly dues

Does signing a card (I have not seen one yet) make me a member or does it just indicate that I am requesting a vote of the other employees to go Union or not?

How would the decision to become Union be determined... Obviously we have a small segment that is currently Union... but the rest are not. Will it be voted on by State, region, City, workgroup???

Anonymous said...

HI THERE, THE VOTING SHOULD BE DONE AT YOUR LOCAL LEVEL. YOU WILL NOT PAY DUE UNLESS A CONTRACT IS VOTED ON. USUALLY 1/2 HOURS PAY PER WEEK. iF YOU NEED A CARD. WE NEED TO KNOW WHAT REGION YOU ARE IN SO WE CAN GIVE YOU A NUMBER TO CONTACT. OR GOT TO THE IBEW WEBSITE AND GET A CONTACT NAME AND NUMBER.

I THINK THE IBEW IS ONE OF THE LARGEST UNION AND THEY ARE IN THE TELECOM/ELECTRICAL INDUSTRY. THEY HAVE THE BEST UNDERSTANDING OF THE NEEDS OF THE BUSINESS.

I HOPE THIS ANSWERS SOME OF YOUR QUESTIONS

Anonymous said...

COME ON NEW ENGLAND, WE NEED ABOUT A DOZEN MORE CARDS SO OUR REGION CAN GO TO THE NLRB, THEN WE CAN HAVE A VOTE! IF YOU KNOW ANYONE WHO IS SITTING ON THE FENCE SPEAK TO THEM ABOUT THE BENIFITS OF A UNION AND GET THEM TO SEND THEIR CARDS IN. DO IT TODAY OR NCR WILL BE OUTSOURCING OUR JOBS BEFORE WE KNOW IT!

I worked for NCR for about 1 year and during that time I had the same issues heard from several others about having to take personnel time to do parts and basically eating on the road to get to calls after about 2 months of it I asked my team leader at the time how can we stop this and get the admin time for parts and email and or training and also how to get breaks and actually lunches without getting a bad performance review he stated that I should just shut up and keep my head low it is nice to know that something is being done or started about this type of abuse.

Glad your on board union brother.

Hey union brothers and sisters,

Let's not forget to pray for and remember our war dead and their families this memorial day. Without their sacrifice this blog or the ability to fight these evil, rich, greedy bastards with a union would not be possible. If the wealthy had their way we would all be slaves.

The freedom to fight back cost thousands of men their lives over the last 232 years. Let's take advantage of it.

FREEDOM IS A GOD GIVEN RIGHT BUT ONLY THE BRAVE CAN CLAIM IT.

What good has a union ever done over the long term for any company, and why would i want to contribute to the demise of the company that i work for? Look at GM, Ford, Chrysler, anything UAW.

Unions are more harmful in this day and age and do no good to anyone except for union leader-thugs.

Anyone on the fence, don't get suckered in by all of this "feel-good" rhetoric.

I live in MI where our socialist governor has raised taxes and driven good companies away from our state. I feel lucky to EVEN HAVE A JOB, let alone be so disgruntled that I would go complain about my job on the internet. Why don't you socialist hacks go find new government jobs or something that doesn't require much thought?

Or just threaten me like a fascist dictator that you wish to emulate. Anyone who dares disagree with union folk get shouted down and shouted out. So much for freedom in the union, right??

bottom line, i like working for NCR and it infuriates me to see people on this site take a good paying job like this for granted. Drop the entitlement mentality and join the hard working real-world.

Hey Cheeseandbacon, You sound like a dumb hick from Michigan. NCR used to pay its help well and lots of other companies too. Used to be a CEO made about 25-30 times more than us Grunt Workers, now they make more than 200 times what we do. It's not fair, screw them, it's time to orgainize. If you want to sit back and kiss corporate ass's go ahead, stupid wimpy employee. Here in NYC/NJ we have been with the Teamsters for 32 years, still and will have decent paying jobs. I make $1200.00/week as contract negoiations are going weel. What do you make??

THIS WAS E-MAILED TO ALL CE'S IN THE NORTHEAST CHISTMAS EVE AND HELPED START THE MOVEMENT. READ ON!

THE HOLIDAYS ARE HERE AND IN WHAT IS BECOME ITS CUSTOM, NCR IS PUTTING THE SCREWS TO ITS CUSTOMER ENGINEERS ONCE AGAIN.

THIS YEARS "GIFT" IS THE ELIMINATION OF THE CE3 POSITION.

ALL CE3's ARE BEING REDUCED TO THE CE2 LEVEL WITH REDUCTIONS IN PAY RANGING FROM 10 TO 30%.

OTHERS CUSTOMER ENGINEERS ARE BEING FORCED INTO "FIRST LINE TECHNICIAN" POSITIONS.

LAST YEAR THEY FROZE OUR PENSIONS, THE PREVIOUS YEAR'S GIFT WAS REBANDING, AND BEFORE THAT THEY DID AWAY WITH CE4's, DOUBLE TIME ON SUNDAYS & HOLIDAYS, ETC. ETC.

THE IRONY OF ALL THIS IS REFLECTED IN THE RECENT ANNOUNCEMENT THAT "WORLDWIDE CUSTOMER SERVICE" MADE A PROFIT OF 9 MILLION DOLLARS, ITS FIRST SIGNIFICANT PROFIT IN 15 YEARS.

IT IS TIME FOR CUSTOMER ENGINEERS TO SHARE IN BENEFITS OF IMPROVED PRODUCTIVITY AND EFFICIENCY RATHER CONTRIBUTING TO PROFITS THROUGH THE LOSS OF HARD EARNED COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS.

WE NEED TO ORGANIZE NOW!

THE NEW YORK METRO GROUP HAS A UNION CONTRACT WITH THE TEAMSTERS AND NCR.

THE REST OF US IN NEW ENGLAND AND NATIONWIDE NEED TO JOIN,

WE CAN'T TRUST NCR.

IT IS TIME TO FIGHT FOR OUR RIGHTS.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL.

The days of the union are over. Get with the times and realize if we continue to support the union NCR will end up just like Michigan. A ghost town of unemployed workers. Michigan has the highest unemployment in the nation and it's all because the union just wants to collect dues and give you nothing in return expect a blank look. It's time for the union to find some other suckers to join. Why don't you get the Mexicans crossing the border illegal into the U.S. to join a union.

Anonymous said...

Hey Mangaement Scum above, unions weren't needed for years because most companies treated employee's decently. Now corporate America is back 80 years. CEO's are way overpaid compared to back in 1990. Back then a CEO made about 25 times what us Grunt Workers made, now they make over 200 times what we make. Capitolistic Pigs! My father is a retired executive and he's pissed off at what's going on also. So go die and burn in corporate Hell you asshole...

As the end of June approaches NCR is preparing to try and crush the the NY and NJ union. I don't see much activity on this site lately. What's going on ? I've been out of the loop and just recently learned of this site. Are attempts to unionize still going on? Dying from lack of information. I'm From Pa a union state. I've never favored the unions but I am in favor of one for us. This is reminesent of the coal companies when they owned their employees lifes. All give and no take. Need more info.

Yes, we are organizing nationwide. Read the info on this site and get as many people as you can in your area on board.
